Had an Awesome experience at Awesome Cycles!!
Just want you guys and gals to know I finished my MSF class at Awesome Cycles. These guys were great! Mike and David were my instructors. The class had plenty of experienced riders and newcomers like myself. I had never been on a motorcycle before and Awesome Cycles really took that into consideration.
Day 1. Classroom was good. The information was great for a beginner like me. The riding portion was fantastic. Even with no prior riding experience I was able to follow instructions and do most of the exercises. The only one I had trouble with was the off-set weave. I just could gauge the cones well.
Day 2. Classroom provided more good information for beginners. The exam was not terribly difficult. The riding portion became more difficult and we learned some new techniques. I think I was getting too excited about riding and missed a call from Mike. I made a mistake and tried to stop during a curve and grabbed the front brake. Over the side of the bike I went!! Ouch!! I was banged up a bit, sore wrist and a bruise on the knee. I contined on and finished the course. I eventually passed the riding exam!!
I think Mike and David realldy did a fantastic job teaching the class. They were patient with everyone, especially those like me who are new to this. I would strongly suggest that anyone looking to take the MSF course go through Awesome Cycles !!
