Talking FB to motohouston.com

Howdy, new to site and FB group, not new to Tx or riding. Read all the rules and requirements for riding. I'm going to try to get in on the next ride this weekend.

Updating my profile to get it set up. I'm usually the guy in the ZX10R going the other way waving. I ride early before the traffic, heat and cagers.

National Forest is typically my personal track, since I am the only person on the road, besides the squirrels, deer, and turtles.

Looking forward to it!
Thanks,
Bryan

Great to see a person up this direction! Do you ever come north of the forest? There’s some of us who like to ride areas up by Lake Livingston and eastwards.

Howdy - yes I do! Actually, I'm looking at land in the forest or north, with Livingston being the northern limit. I'm from Nacogdoches a long time ago, so I ride to and from there a lot through the forest.

Basically, I am forest creature. Love to ride east of the Lake. LMK, weather is 'a changing, so before the last heat wave hits again, I'm in.

Thanks! This is great, but also my first forum to actively post to, outside of social media. I'm still setting up my notifications and profile to let me know someone responded.

Thanks for the welcome, and I'm looking forward to riding with the group. There's a ride this weekend, from what I can tell.
Is there a ride every weekend pretty much?

I am also new to group frequent group riding. Since I was a kid, all types of riding has been no more than 2-3 people in a ride or by myself, if its not off road.

Fantastic, unsolicited response to "Welcome!", LOL. Happy Friday!!

Thanks for the link! I am going to try to make it for Sat and Sun. I have reviewed most of the requirements, guidelines, instructions, and rules.

I'm changing out my 13k miles radiator fluid. It actually made it close to the "E" line. First time I have ever seen that in anything that was not a car. However, it has been an epic 11k miles I put on it last year.

Looking forward to meeting the group and getting involved. How many people typically show for a ride? I know it will be dramatically different depending on weather, time of year, pandemic, zombies, etc... Just wondering if the size is usually over or under +/-10, +/- 20, etc.

I think I may have met you guys before out on a ride at a gas station while I was filling up, but looking forward to riding with the group.

Thanks for the add and the Welcome!

It just depends,

Sometimes there is 10 people, sometimes 30 or 40.

We normally break larger groups off into smaller groups and people get into the groups that have the pace they are comfortable with.

Keith, "The Morganator" leads very fun, but safe rides. You're in good hands for sure.

Fixed! now to put it back together....

Thank you for the invite and being in the group. I spent a better part of the weekend wrenching on a cracked reservoir. Simple fix, hard to find parts. Then while I'm in there, the new spark plugs showed up in the mail, and one thing led to another. Hoping to catch the next rides, and will sign up accordingly.
