Vrod tires

Hello guys. I got this V-Rod 1 week ago. This is my first motorcycle.. it needs new tires. I have called atleast 10-15 motorcycle shops. Most of them donít work on Harleys. Dealership wants to charge me $600. I see the rear ones online for $220. Help me out. I live in the Sugarland area.

Welcome to the Harley world, that hd stands for hundreds of dollars. Great bikes but nothing is cheap about them. On a serious note I second calling motorcycles unlimited, they do great work at a fair price.

Doesn't make sense that shops dont service Harleys

Simple push rod v-twins, old technology, simple means easy to fix...

I bring my custom 1993 Sporty to Motorcycles Unlimited, Patrick is honest and wont nickle and dime you.

It's a drive from Sugarland but worth it, I live bout 30mins from Motorcycles Unlimited and everytime going there, I learn something new about my bike.

Patrick will answer any question you have, sometimes he gets busy but understand he has lots on his plate.

I have a set of Michelin Commander II's in stock here at Cycle Shack North. 120/70-19 front tire is $144.99 and a 240/40-18 rear Michelin tire is $214.99. If you can bring in just the wheels we only charge $10 each to mount and balance. If you would rather bring in your bike we charge $40 for the front tire install and $60 for the rear tire installation. We're happy to put tires on your V-Rod, but it is more expensive than a typical sport bike install on the bike which we do for only $20 per wheel. If have any questions let me know. Bill at 936-756-9711.

Severice mechanics I know say the reason they avoid working on them is because Harley won't give them much to work with on markup on parts.
