Yeaph....That's it...Kirby uses very agressive sales tactics...!!!!! They try to hook you up telling you about a "free service" cleaning of your carpet, they send a school girl to tell you this and the girl mentioned that if you agree to the "free" demo of the "service", she will get 50$ towards a scholarship, they show at your home around 6:00pm or 7:00pm and the guy starts to vacum and clean your carpet showing you all the benefits of the machine after 3 hours of the cleaning and talking, they try to push you to buy the machine...!!! when they are not succesful the salesman mention that he needs one last sale to meet his quota and win a trip to Cancun..!! He make you feel very shity.

Anyway..We did not buy the machine besides all kind of offers, easy payments options, etc etc. Per some consumer reports the machine is the best out there in the market, the craftsmanship is very good but the only issue is that is very expensive.

Re: Kirby vacuum and shampoo system

Thats funny Zapata.* My wife and I bought one for like $1800 after the sales presentation and I was talking to a coworker a couple of days later about it and he said that someone had been to his house last week and tried to sell him one for $1200.* So I called the sales company and told them that they offered one to my "neighbor" for $1200 and that I wanted mine for that price.* They had the gall to tell me that if I got it for that price then the sales guy would not get credit for it and in turn would lose out on his "trip."* I said I don't care I want to save my $600.* Like I would really say "OK screw my bank account I really want that dude to go on vacation."* DUH!!!!!* So they came out the next night and refunded my $600.* And we have been very happy with it.

A kirby will suck the off a rhino from a hundred yards!

Seriously though, my Grandma has one from 50 years ago. She still uses it today. It's made of cast iron, and has a headlight!

Re: Kirby vacuum and shampoo system

We have a G4 and it works like a champ. What was crazy is that the VERY DAY our other vac died, Kirby came 'a knockin. He really didn't have to sell it to us, it sold itself. It also helped that my parents had one when I was groing up and both sets of grandparents had one. I'm pretty sure we paid les than a grand for ours, though.

Talk about expensive - check out Rainbow. ZOINKS!

Someone take this off my hand if you'll know how good the vacuum is....... right:
They are good for anything that you need to do with it, even shampoo your carpet in your car to washing it..* Not only sucks but it also blows

Sounds like a good deal if you can use it to blow-dry you bike. I would by it. My vacuum sucks, haha, really it doesn't suck that well, but well enough, and i don't have money to spend on a vacuum right now. Good effort though.

You CAN blow dry your bike with it. There's an attachment where the bag goes to which you can connect the hose and a nozzle.
