Boots & Gloves - Where to find in Houston?

Where do you go to try-on and buy boots, preferrably the racing variety, in Houston? I live on the west side, near beltway 8 & Westheimer, so my normal go-to place has usually been Cycle Gear in Sharpstown...but it's kinda gone to at least in terms of gear. All they have is the -tastic house brands which look, fit, and feel ultra-cheap...like not really sufficiently safe cheap. They are at a considerably lower cost, but I really doubt you even get what you pay for... Does anyone around here actually stock anything, or am I just left to amazon-it, and roll the dice on fit?

Order it from cycle gear online or in store, try it on, if it doesn’t fit... drop it back at cycle gear haha.
I’m about to do the same with another pair of boots

Motorcyclegear.com is awesome about customer service if you have any sizing/fit questions. They’ve even gone out of their way to let me know if colors matched close enough on a helmet/jacket combo I wanted to buy. Also great about returns if for some reason it doesn’t work out the first try.

Thanks Linds and t-cab. So, basically the consensus is: online order and pray, return if necessary. I'll check out MotorcycleGear.com and do the Cycle Gear loop for anything else then. Thanks!

Motorcycles Unlimited is a site sponsor and has been very good at helping me find the size, style, color, fit, whatever on moto gear several times.

I can't vouch that this is a normal policy, call and talk to Patrick (the owner), but I was told that if they said get a large (for example), if it doesn't fit we will return it and get the correct size.
Even when I bought a set of full leathers from them.

So far, they've been right and everything fit. Give em a call, go see em and you will do like I, and others, do. Drive across town just to shop there because it's worth it.

P1 racing. Ask for John Hutchinson.

He will give you the best deal and can get all brands.
