130-ish - slightly puckered - but a sweeping right to a mild blind hill caused me to cut it - after a few bumps told me I really should tune the shocks for track instead of comfort! LOL
![]() Which is the best track for a smooth high-speed run? I REALLY want to hit a newb track day this year! ![]() |

At the Mile, pucker moment for me wasn't ever getting to speed....it was always braking to stop in time. Many said they had plenty of room. I'd prefer a bit more.
Another moment was pulling back into staging, only to have a flat tire and a nail in it right after making a run. |

i typically shut it down at about 165mph... stopping room is my concern. I don't mind the speed, it's the slowing from that speed that gets me

I've pinned my bike out at 148 on a certain long straight on numerous occasions. And that's bone stock with nothing done to the bike. Going up to 120 is no big deal, but once I'm past that I start to pay real close attention to the road up ahead. For me going past 120 is leaving the comfort zone. I've had pucker moments at lower speeds in certain situations.
