I'm normally not scared of heights but watching that made my palms sweat and get shaky. Working at heights is tough, that right there is insane.

I do too, but I think that right there just hit my limit. Transmission lines, tall buildings etc. are all no problem. Bu the thought of not only climbing, but having to situate to work on it would be tough. You can have this job. Bet it pays decent.

Oh ok. A television tower. I met with a company that owns one of the towers that can be seen from the Ft. Bend County Toll Road. The tower was over 2,000' tall and they have an elevator that goes all the way to the top. I tried to get him to take me up but he wouldn't go for it.

This one had an elevator to 1600'. After that you finish the climb without your lanyard.

...aside from having to carry that big bag and actually having to work, that looks fun. Strange that the wind doesn't appear to be as big an issue as I would have imagined...

I think I found the one I climbed. I had the run of the place for a couple of weeks. I was up in denton with a friend. She worked at the observatory that used be be on this nike missile site. I found a website that has pics of the missile site. The very first pic has the tower that I climbed in it.
