I'm here. Work is busy, life is busier and I don't spend all day on MH (hence my desire to sell). My apologies. Can't do anything with showing the bike until this weekend anyhow. I'll try and give you a call on my way home today to answer any questions you might have. Thanks!

EDIT: At 150 lbs you might have a hard time keeping this front wheel on the ground.

I'll put in a +1 for the Superhawk... I had an RC51 for 7 years and it was the best thing ever! Kinda regret selling it. A Superhawk is the somewhat more sane, MUCH more user-friendly (and comfortable) version of its legendary MotoGP-derived sibling. You will definitely enjoy it!

What's your riding level?
How long have you been riding?
How many bikes have you owned?
Are you mechanically savvy?
and what are your goals with the bike?
Daily commute?
Weekend fun only and eventually track days?

What condition are those bikes you mentioned and where you found them?

I was in car and motorcycle flipper as side job, made good money then lose to gambling but no more now. In order to answer your questions:
I rode few bikes and did top speeds on them, that’s it. Not much cornering experience therefore considered beginner level.
I had 06 black raven R6
04 RC51
07 HD road king police
02 Ducati Monster
07 R6
05 gsx600 (not sure if swapped 1000cc cause I was pulling away from friends with 09 honda cbr1000 and another Honda 1000.

Yes I am UTI auto grad (almost finish s14 2jzgte swap 8xx-1xxx whp). But I know very little about motorcycle.

I want a daily commute. The tricky part is I live in Willis and work on the Bellway 8. I want something stable in high speed and plenty of power and handling like Ducati Monster when in traffic or go to town like go eat Pho in Bellaire 😂. The downside of Naked bike and the RC51 is when I stop, too much heat come out of the bike.

All the bikes I listed that I filtered on Craig’s list. 5 mile. Offer up and FB market place. They are all road ready, some stretched and modified.

Here is my list
DBuck superhawk 2500
11 fz6r 3500
12 fz8 3000
Friends 06 Honda 1000rr. 4500
00 RC51 3500
02 gsxR 750 3500

The last but not least is the sv650 for 2500 that Rod hooked up. This is my wild card. It could be instant winner.

LOL @TrollBrosteen but so true. Dbuck is ramping up the excitement factor.

Wow great questions and answers from Rod. He's had quite a collection of bikes, and even more impressive car build history. Hmm now that he's laid out the options, and his bike history and needs, I view them like this:

1. dbuck SuperHawk (Beautiful, unique, well-kept, and mostly will get all the Asian girls wanting your eggroll.)

2. 11fz8 (Much like the Monster, but more reliable and refined since it's 9 years newer technology. Will not run as hot, and super comfy for Houston flat, straight roads)

3. 06 cbr1000rr (Do hood rat things with your group of degenerate friends.)

4. SV650 (This one will always be a solid buy, and you can fix it up a bit since you're handy and paint it Ducati red to troll the out of people.)

At your weight/height, they are all wheelie machines. Clearly you don't have an issue with handling horsepower, so you should be fine respecting the bike.

Thanks for taking the time to write this up.
In your case, I would go for the Superhawk or SV650.
The superhawk is a nice clean looking bike than the SV650 but I'm afraid you will like the SV650 better when you take it for a ride.
Good luck and keep us posted!!!

oh my man! you HUNG well. muahhhaaah about eggroll, you gave me too much credit ahhaha, how about "imperial roll" lol which is smaller bite size but its very rewarding of crispiness and amazing texture of every bites.

its been few days banging my head about this. 80% freeway 10%city 10% in traffic. what to get , what to get... Every time I encounter 18 wheelers in the country on a windy road, it push me out on smaller bike and tends more vibrations during higher speed, on bigger is a lot firmer and stable but losing ability to zip in and out in traffic or city.

DBuck superhawk is MINT!! Sound of Vtwin is awesome. Lighter bike compare with FZ8

Fz8 is Mint too, zippy and have the Yamaha signature engine rev.

Only few hundreds different

I probably cant sleep tonight

Headed to HoH this morning for a filter and oil. Gonna flush the fluid in the brake and clutch reservoirs too as it needs to be done with way. I'll be around today should you want to pull the impulse trigger. Here's a similar bike, with a few gaudy add ons and 4 X's the miles for reference.

Thank you Very much guys. I have had twist and turn for a couple nights and decided to get the FZ8. However I’m still thinking about Dbuck’s Superhawk.
I just took it for a ride on I 45, it’s pretty wicked. I am happy with the acceleration and lanes maneuver. However when I start doing ... ahem the speed limit I feel like I am the one who’s naked. A lot of wind pressure, not sure if it wear me out for long distance as go get some Pho. Probably I will find some kind of fairing and windshield or trade for a real sport bike.
Here are some pictures of it. Cheers and once again thank you very much guys!!
