A Few Guidelines for our Rides…

Hopefully this wont be taken the wrong way but i feel this must be addressed.

As our group continues to grow unfortunately so do the accidents.

I want to suggest a few guidelines that need to be followed. If you feel that you cant follow them its best for your safety and ours not to join us.

1. Following distance: This is a constant struggle we face. I can talk till im blue in the face about giving the person in front of you room until we get on the road and it all goes out the window. Please leave enough space between you and the person in front of you in case there is an emergency stop. If you see others following too close please let me know.

2. Maintain your speed thru the curves: If you fly down the straight and hit the brakes and slow way down in the curves it makes everyone behind you do the same. We have all skill levels so finding your place in line is crucial. If you know you’re going to be slower in the curves stay in the back please. If other riders run up on you constantly wave them by. Put your ego aside.

We all have different skill levels and thats fine. I want everyone to be able to ride with us and enjoy themselves. I set the pace based on the skill level of the group.
I know we have very skilled riders capable of going way faster than me but im looking out for the group as a whole.

Our goal is for everyone to enjoy themselves and get home safely. Group riding isnt for everyone so if you’re not able to adjust please dont join.

If you have any thoughts that can help improve things please feel free to post.
