Need so advice!!!!!!

I bought a 2012 Gsxr 750 with major rod knock
And I have a 07 Gsxr 600 complete engine, what do I need to do to make this conversion work? I search the net but the 2012 engines are so expensive .
Anybody ever done this swap ?

In my experience if you're asking these questions it's above your head, but in fairness you could work hard enough to figure it out. You will need the ecu for the 600, wiring harness for the 600 and a way to mount the engine. There is probably a ton more that you need but that is a start.

Engine rebuild would probably be easier and cheaper.

I want to doubt the problem is a rod. I could be wrong. I agree with the engine work over a swap

Sell the 600, buy a manual and some wrenches and get ready to split some cases. Use the rest of the money left over for some bearings and other miscellanous parts you made need once you get it opened up.

It's not that hard if you have a little bit of mechnical aptitude.

You asked for advice, here's mine...
Sell the junk you've already bought, start saving your money, add the junk money to what you've saved and in 3 or 4 months you'll be able to by a gixxer that runs and drives.
That's probably how long it will take you to accomplish what you're trying to do and will be a LOT easier.
Gixxers are cheap and plentiful, engine swaps and rebuilds are hard and expensive.

How much will you sell the 2012 gsxr750 for with the bad motor?
Riding a Duc is kind of like, you may get a cramp in your wrist, but you keep on trucking because it feels so good.

I swapped a 600 06 into the 08 and it fits just right.
I'm not sure about the 2007 fitting into a 2012.
I'll look into it
