BMW technicians???

Are there any BMW technicians in this forum that could help me out turning my service light off on my RR? I prefer to do the maintenance myself but don't want to pay BMW $60 just to turn the light off.

Thank you in advance!

Hmm, so you want a tech that pays for his own tools and only gets paid when he's working on a job to work on your bike for free because you're too cheap to pay $60?
Good luck.

If you can get out of a BMW service department for only $60 you are very fortunate.

I have the tool to turn the light off but it only works on money. Came with my scanner and I have yet to use it so it has to pay for itself somehow.

If you plan on keeping your bike for awhile buy one and it will pay itself off over time.

So you're just going to roll around with the light on for a month or so? Why worry about turning it off at all then?

Just putting my time and money towards something else at the time. For $35 might as well get it turned off when I get the chance to.

Cheapest thing on a BMW is the rider

Seriously, as others said if you plan on keeping BMW's buy as GS911, if you're too cheap for that spend the $60, if you're too cheap for that $35, If you're still too cheap a piece of black tape.
