You don't need a CHL to carry in your car as long as the weapon's concealed. Without a CHL, you have to leave it in the car and can't carry it around with you.

not a lot of car jackings down south, I wonder if its because league city and friendswood lead the state in CHL's. prolly not, I think those doing the jacking have no clue and are just lucky with whom they pick.

I'd try, arguing that they need to bill the PD since you were available to pick it up right now. Any delays are because of the PD and thus the PD's responsibility. You may not get anywhere, but worth a shot. :-)

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. With a barrel of a gun in your face, there is not a whole lot you can do armed or not. One can only hope to stay ahead of the curve by being in condition yellow at most times.

glad your ok dude, something like this happened to my friend also... he was on the news not to long ago.

when a black guy walked up to him and pulled a gun out, i believe he acted like he was getting out to get the guy of guard then he just stomped on the gas to drive away. his truck now has bullet holes

red dodge ram 2500 extcab, lifted stacks. its the 94-01 body style if anyone remember this on the news lol

You can still get robbed if you don't pay attention to your surroundings.

I live in one of the safest cities in America.

Correct - and be able to legally own a gun otherwise. And, if I'm not mistaken, it's also required that it be your car under your control.

I live not far from there. I will start watching out. Time to roll with gun in my lap.
