Headgasket

Is there a shop In Houston that can make one?
I'm going 2.5mm over and no one makes it.
It's for a 1 cylinder motor 4 stroke water-cooled engine

Best of luck finding someone! Let us who you find, so we don't go through the pain you are going through sourcing something like this

Is the original gasket metal or a fiber composite?

Doesn't look like you have any local shops, as far as googling something. Closest would be Lubbock... Their site: https://lubbockgasket.com/

Ive never done anything with head gaskets other than exact matches replacements.
my concern is the indention that goes around the piston hole.
Does that really need to be there???

here is an example of what i'm talking about.

I can't blow up the picture but most fiber gaskets have a "FIRE" ring molded into the gasket to prevent combustion gases from eroding the gasket. Why I would recommend a copper gasket. Would be relatively easy to machine with a sacrificial 1/4" aluminum plate clamped on top. You would need some copper the correct thickness. Possibly available from Grainger.

He is going to a bigger piston bore so the head gasket needs a larger diameter at the bore.

Use copperkote spray or Indian head shellac if you use copper shim gasket
