1 day = M!

There's a new way to get your M! If you're an experienced rider, own your own motorcycle and can spare ONE DAY on a weekend, you can now qualify for your M endorsement in TX. The new Lee Parks Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic has been approved for licensing by the Texas DPS and it will be offered in the Houston area exclusively by MRH Rider Training starting in June. The class is fun and informative for experienced riders and includes development in throttle control, proper braking, road speed cornering, slow speed turning, hazard avoidance and body positioning, as well as vision and perception. Even if you've ridden for years, you'll come away from this class a better rider. (BTW, if you already have your license and just want to be a better rider, this class is for you, too!)

More information coming shortly. In the meantime, keep the weekend of June 6/June 7 available.

the latest

We're in the process of getting the facility ready and am still aiming for June. Lee's courses are challenging, even if you've been riding a long time, and I guarantee you'll come of this one not only with an M endorsement, but also better skills and a whole lot of new info. The class is called the Total Control Intermediate Riding Clinic. Stay tuned.

So is this class for beginners or experienced?

How do you take a person who's never swung a leg over to a course challenging experienced riders w/o boring the experienced ones to tears and the w/o making the beginners cry?

im familiar w Mr parks course, never taken it but I've heard his things about it.

The one-day Intermediate Riding Clinic is designed for experienced riders only and is approved by DPS for licensing. Riders must ride their own bike in the class and must successfully complete the first range exercise to qualify. If a person cannot do the first exercise, we will remove them from the class and schedule them into an MSF Basic RiderCourse. When you sign up we will ask your level of experience and what kind of bike you will be riding in the class. Those who embellish the truth will quickly be discovered during the first exercise!

This will be a positive for experienced riders: one day, more advanced training and in class with riders of equal or greater experience/talent.

And having the Intermediate Class in place will free up space in the MSF Basic RiderCourse for those who need to start from scratch or who have very limited experience/abilities.
