I actually thought the track would be boring but it was great. I was also very pleased with my performance. I've been watching plenty of videos on YouTube. MSRH is special for me since that was my 1st time out on a track, but it is a fun track regardless.

Always work with instructors at every track day. They'll tell you whenever they see you're ready for Level 2, but the final decision on moving up will be yours to make. I talk a little bit about that in this video:
I've also started a discussion on that here on the forum: https://www.motohouston.com/forums/s...d.php?t=359582

If you're in the Houston area, you may want to check out my Beyond the Track meetups: https://www.meetup.com/Beyond-the-Track/
Videos of previous meetings are all up in my channel as well:

Hope to be seeing you at the track soon!

Ultimately its up to one of your teachers in lvl 1 to make going to lvl 2 happen.. Get a t-shirt and have one of them follow you and give pointers and they determine and recommend you for lvl 2 when your ready.. I would just say come out on a ride with morganator and there is usually someone there who can let you know if your ready and give tips , but its still up to one of the teachers at ridesmart to make it happen..

I don't know anyone on here personally but I was there in L1. We had class up stairs where the level 2 riders had class. They consider up L1.5 but were all on the track at the same time. Its just that we've done more than 1 track day. It was only my 4th track day but my first at MSRH and I had a lot of fun. I was very pleased with my performance. I talked with quite a few ppl who were very nice and willing to share information. I signed up for June 3rd also. This time I'll ask around for motohouston riders.

One of our Instructors will evaluate and give you a card bumping you up. The Instructor will also turn in a sheet with his recommendation for the bump and Dave / Randy will have it on file. The card they give you will have a number on it you will use to register and allow you to get in to level 2

Didn't you do a 2:19 at COTA on your Superleggera last Fall? If you're doing Level 2 I need to drop back down to Level 1

If I could afford a superleggera then I would also have enough track time to pull off something like that... But unfortunately My only ducati is a 1098. But I will allow you to continue bowing. Will you be there this sunday? What will you be on this time.. Think you were on your 300 last time at msrh.

Then I will try to find you. To put a face with the eagle. I've seen your posts and your videos quite a bit but haven't met you yet.

I'll be in paddock #15, plate #934, come by any time to say hello. If you see me on the track, follow me for a few turns (specially keyhole) so I can get you on the rear camera. Just got a 4k Hero and the Level 2A footage from COTA last weekend came out great (will post here once everything is uploaded).

I have about 20 videos front/rear from all the sessions and still uploading to Youtube since Monday; 4K takes forever to upload, but the quality is incredible and worth the wait. Even if you don't have a 4K monitor/TV you will notice the clarity.

Here's a sample from 3rd session on 27th, anyone know who this is?
