i use a sena smh5 and like it. battery life is pretty good. speakers are good quality, too. they tent to deteriorate in quality after a while though. ive had my unit for maybe 2 years and have replaced the speakers 3 times. it's pretty cheap to do, so thats good.

Senna smh10. Its older technology but still works like a champ. I use the earphone mount, but I'm told the speakers are good.

Sena SMH10, 20 or 30.

Can't go wrong.

In my opinion while integrated Bluetooth helmets are cool but in the long term it'd be better to buy a external Bluetooth headset.

With a Sena or cardo headset, you can always remount to any helmet you have moving forward and can sell and replace as needed.

While the integrated Bluetooth is sorta just stuck on that hardware it's on and gets thrown out when the helmet is replaced.

I have the Sena 30k. Lots of trouble. Sent it back for replacement and the new one is no better. Even at Max volume, I can barely hear my GPS, tunes, or phone at above 60 mph.

I run the 30k with no issues, did you update the firmware?

Make sure your speakers are placed properly within your helmet, a few cms off can make a big difference.

Only times I have 30k Sena hearing issues is over 85 and that's with earplugs on

I currently use the sena20s. I ditched the stock speakers and plug in a set of ear buds. Everything is kosher now I can hear music and talk normally at high triple digits. Battery lasts forever.
Also had the Scala Cardo and it was pretty decent except once u get up to high speeds.

Yup, ALL helmet speakers suck compared to even a cheap set of earbuds.

I use www.plugfones.com with my Sena.
