2019 Honda CBR 400 R Unveiled

https://www.news18.com/news/auto/201...0-2029441.html

Bore is 67, stroke 56.6. Compare that to the CBR500 @ 67x66.8 and the Ninja 400 @ 68.4x54.3.
It appears to be a destroked 500. I'm impressed that it makes more power than the N400 given the smaller bore.
I'm surprised that it makes almost the same power as the 500 does.

What do these new fake 400s weigh?

My 1989 CBR400RR made 60hp at the crank and weighed 370lbs and was more than a match to the 250 2 strokes of the day.

These bikes interest me quite a bit, but being a 200+lb guy I just can't do it. I already look like a monkey a football on my sportster.

just because you are a bigger guy doesnt mean that you cant have fun on a smaller bike. i'm around 220 and had a cbr250r a while back. that bike was not fun on the highway, but it was madness on smaller roads. i felt more confident than i had on any other bike, and it was fun to jump speed bumps with

I'm mostly talking about suspension really, although even that is not a very expensive fix. I'm not as heavy as I used to be though, I'm down around 215-220. Getting there for sure.

I had wanted a 390 Duke forever and we eventually took some in on trade when I still worked in the industry. Man... that was an eye opener!
