How much should I ask or expect when selling my bike?

I am planning on selling one of my bikes and don't know where to start on getting an expected amount to sale it for. I've checked NADA and KBB and looked around on ebay motors, but I just don't know what my bike is worth. Can anyone advise what I should try to sell it for? Thank you.

2004 Suzuki GSX-R600 black/yellow 34,000 miles, clear title, never dropped.

Best bet is search for your bike's specifics on Cycle Trader, Craigslist, and forums you frequent or that you may list your bike for. That will tell you the market.

My quick opinion is you would be safe trying for $3-3.5K as a start and negotiate from there. Probably a high $2k sell price or just over $3k.

Just a general estimate without seeing it or knowing details like suspension upgrades, hot stamp date on tires, etc.

If it's mint, I'd start on the high side... like $4k, but Tojo92 is pretty spot on with the price range for a quick reasonable price

quick search of the internets shows these bikes go for 3-4k with less miles. I'd be happy to get about 3K but would ask 3.5-3.8k depending on condition.

Aim high. Nothing more confusing than listing something and getting an asking price offer in a short time. You'll always say "I should have asked for more."

I agree to sell on the high-end, but it's got to be within the reasonable resale range. Every time I scan CL for a bike (or specific model), I always adjust the filters to only show me bikes within the reasonable resale range... Because there's no way I'm going to try to make a reasonable offer, to an unreasonable seller. Most annoying thing is a guy who wants $5k over normal resale and they are firm on that price.

If you can wait to find the right buyer, 3.5-4K IMO
Otherwise 3K it will fly out of your hands
