I still have my 03 gsxr 750. Finally ran a compression test on it today bike temp@ 100degF
Clutch--- 130psi ---150psi--- 150---135--Brake
I'm trying to get down to the bottom of my smoking bike. According to specs compression is ehhhh ok. Not the best. Not aware of the maintenance history. Clock shows about 18k now purchased used at 11k. Plugs oily. Valves have crud on em looking down through the butterflies. Could also see film of oil on top of visible pistons. Rings or valve stem seals is the question. Any suggestions.

Find a shop that can do a low pressure leak down test & find what is not sealing

That's low numbers. Worn out piston rings or valve guides or both. Valve not seating properly. Needs leak down test and prolly freshen top end.

How much of a low pressure needs to be applied? Not sure how much psi to apply into cylinder to get a reading to determine what's the issue. I don't have any noise out the exhaust and no bubbling in coolant. After seeing. How much oil was sitting on top of the valve I'm thinking valve seals and a adjustment.

I don't need a shop just some guidance. I'm a tech myself. Have more than enough tools to rip this apart and install. I have the 2000-2002 750 manual too.
