Student asks teacher to adopt him

BEAUMONT, TX -- It was an exciting day at the Jefferson County Courthouse. The courthouse was decked out in all things Wizard of Oz for the children who found their forever families.¬*The children followed the "Yellow Brick Road" to the "Mayor of Munchkin City" better known as the¬*317th District Court Judge Larry Thorne's courtroom. 18 kids in all were adopted Friday. Ages ranged from alm ost 1-year-old to 16-years-old.
