You bet!
Doing the vids is a good way for me to go through all of the footage and analyze my progress.

Really nice editing job. That must have taken a long time with the multiple cameras and stills. Well done!

Interesting video, with great production value, editing talent and effort for sure - but I didn't get past the first 1000 feet. The music. Eh...

I know music on car and bike videos is some peoples thing, but for me the interest is the actual riding, the sound of the engine, etc.

I sampled again at about 5 minutes and again at 9 minutes.. more music.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.

I didn't track the time, but it probably took me some 25 hours to put it all together.

You got it.

I know the feeling: very often I find riding videos on the web and have to mute my computer because it's not my kind of music.

While I enjoy videos that have a mix of the sound of the engine and music, in my vids I've been having to do it that way because the audio quality I get at the track is horrible. My camera's built-in mic sucks really bad. This camera integrates with my Sena communicator and can use that as the mic, but it doesn't make it a lot better when the engine is loud and there's a lot of wind coming into the mic.

Thanks for the feedback, though.

Perhaps you could do 2 versions - the Topgear style edit and then for us die-hards, just the tack title scene to the raw track video cuts without music.

Without earplugs that's all I hear anyway is wind noise LOL

Right, I was thinking something along those lines (2 versions).

I also like hearing the engine revving, since that's a way I can analyze my gear shifting, braking, getting back on the throttle, etc. If I could only get less wind noise.

Anyway, I also plan on cutting different types of videos where there'll no music, but I'll be talking about my experiences (things I'm learning, my noob mistakes, etc.). Let's see how that goes.

I have 4 or 5 year old GoPro - the built-in mic in the housing gives ok sound. Not broadcast quality, but saved me from spending more on yet another camera.

yeah, it does seem like all the gopros sound better than the prism... well, I'll have to stick with what I have for the time being... I'll experiment more with settings, and maybe tweak with filters when editing the video to see if I can improve the audio that way.
