New to Houston
k not really, been on a work project here going on 3 years now but it still doesn't feel like home for whatever reason. Grew up and did most of my riding in the SF Bay Area. Not really sure what else to add to this post. Have a 701 sumo down here, keeping an eye out for a decent track bike. Got some new leathers that need breaking in, haven't found any roads within a reasonable distance for any spirited riding unfortunately but maybe i just don't know where to look.
Anyhoo, glad i found a local moto forum, reading the local facebook groups makes me realize just how old i am. Thanks for having me

welcome! most of the good roads are on the west side of town, look for posts in the events forum if you enjoy group rides or meet-and-greets. everyone here, for the most part, is pretty well-behaved

There are few good roads within a reasonable distance. It's the coastal plains of Texas unfortunately.
There are some decent experiences in the hill country in central Texas but not much nearby.
Thanks goodness the weather is so pleasant in the summer or it would suck to ride in Houston!!
