I am thinking 60 so I can still travel. In my 70s I think I am going to play alot of video games and get really involved in my church because obviously I will be getting closer to checking out. If I was an atheist, I think I would do hard drugs later in life like acid, h, x, etc. I mean if you are too old to travel and screw why not take a trip in your mind.

What about ya'll?

A guy i worked with was in an accident, lost his arm from the elbow down. He got a pretty decent settlement, north of 1M.
He said, he could do ok in the states but because he was fairly young, he'd have to be careful to make the money last.
He decided moving to Costa Rica would allow him to live the rest of his life, like a king.

He bought a beautiful, large piece of beachfront property a few miles outside a good sized town. Hired a contractor to build a big old house. Contractor starts bringing 18 wheeler loads of building materials and its just days from starting construction.

Then, the government swooped in confiscated all the building material and said that the property was sold to him illegally. They said he'd been scammed, he had no claim to the property or the building material. He believed the people that sold him the land, the contractor and the government officials were all in cahoots.
He lives here now. I have no idea how he's doing, l lost touch years ago.

The moral of the story is be careful in central America.

Fidelity suggests that by age 60 you should have eight times (8X) your annual income saved.

I haven't reached that age but I've already surpassed that savings amount.
