It's just a vacuum table. No printing. So it would depend on pre-set vinyl colors, or if you went to a sign shop, and had custom graphics printed.

Sadly, there can, and will be a trade off depending on styles, and graphic choices due to heat, and stretch. A carbon fiber look vinyl will have stretch markes, depending on recesses, and complex curves. Possibly removing an authentic look. Same with color shift vinyls. Maybe. Depends on the surface, heat applied, and vacuum pressure.

Going to take some time to iron out, and experiment on all the different variables.

Real life is getting in the way. :/ I have a few more feet of black gloss. Enough to do one large table, and maybe a couple small table/small body parts pulls.

Got two more rolls coming in. One is white aluminum. ( have an idea for that one. a bike as a tribute P-51 Mustang/invasion stripe theme) or just try as a single color " aluminum" bike.

And a dark gloss grey. ( darker than nardo/attack grey)

Both were reasonably priced, and wanting to see how each ones finished result looks. Wont be in till tuesday/wed.

But hoping I can have decent vid/update on sunday.

These are the two coming in. Really curious on the white aluminum, and how it will appear, by itself, or with a color scheme on a bike.

You'll have to give us feedback on the Vvivid vinyl. I saw that amazon has plenty of that brand in stock. I saw a really nice metallic royal crown blue, that I wanted to wrap one of my bikes with and slap some Redbull stickers on it (I really like the Redbull branding for some reason... they did great on that logo).

Just because of price ( and amazon) Vivvid, is all I have dealt with. So I can't compare with others yet.

All in all, workability is pretty good, as long as the room you are working in is 70+ or above. Seems like everytime I'm tinkerering with vinyl, it's always cold. It does get brittle/tears easy when working cooler/cold.( I'm sure thats similar for most vinyls in reason.)

That and you do want to exercise some caution with hands on. It's not bad, re-working an area, but do it too much, and the adhesion is lost.

Now as far as ordering online, they don't do a color correction. My first roll was "midnight purple" looked great on the example rolls, and cars, when I got it, it was considerably more blue, and not as dark, as pictured.

The last sheet of vinyl, fell through the frame, while I was re-securing it to the frame. Sticky side down, into the garage floor. Got 2 new rolls coming in this week. So maybe next sunday. :/
