With Rossi testing for Covid again, our very own home town hero Garrett Gerloff will be on this weekend for Motogp!!

He’s been getting into a good groove in WSBK towards end of season, couple thirds and a second, while riding up front at other times.

Well... looks like Rossi will be riding in the race now.

A bit bummed but Gerloff ran in practice FP1/2 and did great!

Announcers couldn’t stop talking about him and pondered what is it about Texas that makes such great riders

(If they only knew the secret is crappy bumpy tracks

)

Tried to upload some clips but YouTube wasn’t having it.. If you have means to check out middle of FP2 session to see him ringing the neck off Rossi’s M1 on a damp track with slicks on a track, bike, and tires that’s all new to him.

Yamaha bosses and engineers in garage couldn’t stop smiling. Looking fwd to following him more in SBK next year hopping for some wildcards. Big statement made today.
