Hill Country “3 Sisters” Ride Oct. 16-18
I would like this to be an organized event where we all stay at the same place if possible. Plan would be to ride Fri. afternoon around 2 or 3 pm. for a couple hours then all day Sat. and possible short morning ride Sun.
Please post which days you would be interested in riding and the nights you want to stay if staying overnight. All skill levels are welcome but i highly recommend you have curvy road skills. The roads there are extremely technical and require cornering skill. I will be leading the group at a moderate pace. As of now it’s only me. Justin can lead a faster group but i will have to confirm which day he is available. For your own safety i highly suggest that if your a first time rider or not really experienced that you stay in my group. Only experienced riders should go with Justin. Questions? 979-251-6249...Keith...please text me first because i usually don’t answer calls if i don’t know who it is. We plan to stay at the Oak Hill Cabins at 831 W. Ranch Rd. 337 In Leakey. There website is Oakhillcabins.com Call Patty the owner at 830-232-5555 tell her your part of my group. An alternative place to stay is the Leakey Inn if they have rooms. Would be better to put as many as we can in the rooms since there are only 4 cabins available. Friday Riders 1. Me 2. Karen 3. RTRHD 4. Lindz 5. RAFIKI 6. Throttle Pig 7. Rustin 8. SouthernFZ09 9. KevinC 10. Yest 11. Daniel 12. Cello 13. Htown Saturday Riders 1. Me 2. Karen 3. RTRHD 4. Lindz 5. RAFIKI 6. Throttle Pig 7. Rustin 8. SouthernFZ09 9. KevinC 10. Yeet 11. Daniel 12. Cello 13. Htown |

I'm definitely interested, but I'd have to pay the family tax and spend time with the relatives out there on at least one day. My biggest factor is going to be whether my tires are good enough for that brutal rubber destroying stuff they have out there.
Can ya think of a good way to estimate life left per hill country mile? |

Rider. Tuner. Wrencher.

come with new tires, 336 was recently "repaved" - if you would even call it that - with a chip-seal job that is literally a bunch of crushed up rocks pressed into some tar. It is a meat grinder of a road now, and still a bit greasy in the tight stuff
ALSO COME WITH RADIATOR GUARDS! |

So the smaller cabins are booked. I believe they only have 1 more cabin available. I have cabin 5 on hold unless someone has a cot or spot for me.
