Been riding to work daily for about a month now. My son passed his driver’s license test recently and I gave him my truck. I’m going to go bike only and see how it works. My wife has a vehicle to use when we are together. So far so good. But I’m now watching YouTube videos looking at new bikes. Haha.

Took the Shadow today... Finally got it up to highway speeds. It did 80mph with no issue.

That’s a good looking bike, totally draws my eyes away from the classics on the right.

As an aside, four hours of 100+F riding is a bit of a pain...

Looking at those pics I’m already sweating! I worked in a classic car shop South side of Houston in the 1980’s. Metal buildings with only a floor fan, and typical summer heat. Coveralls over briefs was about it and I was still all wet.

Can someone draw me this Crab River route... ? Houston its pretty boring and the loop its over rated.. I like going to waller but I am curious about crabbriver.. thanks

Have you tried going through the Egypt Road / National Forest?

Its not too long of a route and has a good bit of twisties

What side of town are you on? The national forest / route is north of the woodlands.

I plan on riding out their Sunday if you want to join

Unfortunately, there are no consecutive curve-having in that neck of the woods.

All the good is north/northeast of Houston... unless you are bar hopping, then the south IS WHERE IT'S AT

I stay in the katy area, but work 7 days a week for now lol, so sundays before 12pm I can ride, but crabriver is like 20min from my work place
