I saw a guy on the freeway in a nissan x-terra with his 04 gsxr 1000 on a hitch carrier. That truck looked like it was gonna pop a wheelie!! It didn't look stable at all. I was waiting for it to snap the hitch and go tumbling down the freeway. Hazzard find a loading dock on base maybe around the LRS (supply) building or the bx

I am looking for ideas on a good ramp. I want one that will fold up small enough to put in the bed and still wide enough so I can walk the bike up feathering the clutch. The ones one their website are way too big... |

Got one. Love it so far. Usually use it just to carry training bikes, but I've also carried the 10 and 12R on it too. Even carried the 250 to Austin.
The Raider's too long for it and Deb's Harley is too heavy. I also have a 3 bike trailer, but it's a pain in the a$$ to go get it just to carry one bike across town, plus the gas mileage goes to pulling the trailer. If you've got a pickup, theres no sense in having one, just get a ramp instead. It does feel/look a little weird the first few times, but once you get used to it, seems to work great. If a bike ever does fall off, I'll be sure and let everyone know. ![]() |

My dad built a hitch that holds just my front wheel. We strap the forks down real tight and wide so it wont sway, then remove the chain. The bike follows the truck just like a trailor, and there is no weight almost on the hitch, although it takes two people to lift the front into the "holster" however I can unload by myself.
