Austin radio sucks too. I have not listened to anything other that AM1300 The Zone in over a decade. I like to listen to sports radio on the radio.

Ipod the rest of the time.

Talk radio (700,740 and 950am) is all I can listen too. I get tired of the same 10-15 song loop on every station.

Yup, if not for AM radio, I would have no use for radio.

exactly man,

clear channel owns like 90% of all radio stations,
what they pump out is a generic piece of set list that is full of mediocracy.

the term 'artist' is thrown about very loosley these days and does not reflect quality music or art.

107.5 just took over 106.9, and 106 actually played different , more so than 107...

i hate houston radio

Agree

I listen to 93.7 in the morning because Walton & Johnson crack me up.
On the way home from work, I listen to Savage on the AM or CD's that I have burned.

... and Outlaw Dave when I can.

I stopped listening to W&J when they went to the arrow. Nothing but commercials.

OD on the other hand, I love him. Cool guy.

Houston radio has sucked since I got here in 1996. 101 was the only station worth a in the past 15 years. Clear Channel ruined radio, which is why I only listen to KUHF for the news, and stick to listening to MP3s or hooking my phone up to my truck and listening to Slacker or Pandora.

i only really listen to Michael Berry on 740am @ 5-7pm then im on Motohouston and youtube lol I work nights so thats what i start my day off with. Radio has gone downhill. 106.9 the point was good for sure and 99.7 K-star country in conroe is goodif you can pick it up. South of beltway 8 and you are pretty much not going to pick up reception.
