717's ECR Thanks!
Round 8 was actually my official return to racing since my broken arm but this one (Round 9) sure felt a lot better!
I had a great weekend which started with my teammates and I puttin the Ridesmart endurance bike on the box. Unlike the previous round I was able to complete my assignment this time, which was (2) 45 minute stints. I failed miserably at this at Cresson, so this was my redemption.
On sunday I went out and clobbered my pervious best lap at ECR and joined the sub :50 club which is really meaningful to me. I've been a co instructor of Ride Smart's ARC and it's really important for me to execute what I preach and produce some results.
Thanks Ridesmart Motorcycle School for the opportunity to become a student of the sport. No way I'd be 1/2 as competitive without them.
I did not pre order tires and showed up with nothing to race on. I appreciate Allan at Whoopie's Cycles for working wth me putting me together with a nice setup and the right compounds. I think Dunlop runs their business a bit different than others so I appreciate Allan extending the cash to have some extra tires on hand for people like me. Thanks again! Looking forward to the future.
Raceworx (Jim Cambora) has my stuff dialed in. No excuses for me.
Thanks Motorcycle's Unlimited for the unwavering support and the help with the EBC pads. Best value in pads, period.
Thanks 212 Decals, House of Paint, Arlen Ness, K & N, LP USA, Motul the CMRA and all the cornerworkers.

Congrats on the finish Brandt and Team Ride Smart!
Remember that thread where were discussing racing costs between dirt racers and roadracers? Well, I got the bill in from the Ortho surgeon for my knee surgery on Saturday....I'm guessing your arm was cheaper than my knee....$63k before insurance adjustments. Thank goodness for insurance. Here's to more racing in the future.
