Depends on what im doing. Driving just in seattle everyday i get 32-36mpg depending on traffic. On the highway i get 36-43mpg. I just took my fiance to disneyland and vegas (2700 miles total) and averaged 38.5mpg overall. 250 in gas for that trip was a blessing lol.

All city i get 360-380 miles. All highway up to 450.

Im not sure if you guys know about DFCO (decelerating fuel cutoff) but all the new 'yotas have it, and it kicks . Anytime you let off the gas while IN GEAR and coast, the injectors turn off completely. It uses the wheels to spin the motor and it basically becomes a compressor. I didnt believe it until i bought a Scanguage II to check my economy etc on our trip. One of the readouts i have is GPH (gallons/hr). When the car is hot and idling, the GPH never goes below .18. When i coast down a hill in gear, the GPH reads 0.00 and the MPG readout says 99999. Ive learned to coast when theres a red light ahead and down all the hills in seattle. On my trip it was tight to coast down entire mountains not using a drop of gas. Smart use of DFCO gets me lots farther on a tank. :clap

It needs a lot of decals to make it go faster.

I like it. It's clean and not overly-done. I'd pimp a Yaris...I think it would fit in the bed of the Tundra

I don't have a problem with the looks. Its when the driver's try to race me when Im commuting home in my car and all I use it for is A to B... If the window is down I just say I ride bikes and they usually drive off or forget the traffic infront of them and get caught as I keep going.

while I completely understand your repudiation towards import that are ghettofied for no good apparent aesthetic reason, this yaris looks quite cool. adding a little bit of personality certainly will never be stigmatized before my judgement... so long as they keep a good taste.

well, you got my point. And the deceleration fuel cut off system is quite a simple yet efficient system to save energy... didn't know the yaris had one. I might get one of these for rainy days.

Got news for ya bro, my gf had a 05 Corolla that got 43 round trip to northern Indiana last summer.
That Yaris could easily better that.

Her city mpg was closer to 35 (can't remember exactly), but I see what you're saying.
