Urgent, H/O Insurance.....

Closing on my house this month and need a reputable insurance firm to meet one of the conditions for our loan. My Uncle is in the insurance business in the hill country but just found out he cannot cover us here in Houston and his friend that is closer cannot either. Anyone here in the Home Owners Insurance field or know of an Insurance company with good rates and coverage? A speedy response is MUCH appreciated!

Maximum Respect,
7cain

If you're former military USAA is awesome.
If not try State Farm.

I will second that. I have used Nationwide and Allstate in the past, but after shopping around and looking at customer satisfaction surveys it came down to Amica and USAA. I am not military so Amica it was. They gave me a lower rate and more coverage than anyone else, and their satisfaction scores were higher than anyone I could find.

Thanks guys, talked with Trooper last night and we'll see what he comes up with. I think my wife is starting to appreciate MH a lot more. It has become a popular resource and I really enjoy it when she has a question or needs to find something and she asks me "Will you see if your MH people know (insert subject)"

Awesome! Trooper hooked me up with not only h/o ins. but also both our cars for HALF of what we pay now AND full coverage! Thanks Glenn!

I get the feeling you are going to get more business from me!
