M/C Battery Charging

A friend of mine let me borrow his charger, which is set at 1 amp. Is that too little or too much for charging an R1 battery? How long should I charge it for?

1 amp. is good to get your batt charged in approx. 4 hrs. (get the bike cranked). If it's a float charger, you can leave it on the batt. no worries.

Leave that 1 amp charger on it for 10-12 hours if it is a new battery.
