storing a bike - Kickstand or Pit Bull rear stand
It seems far more stable and unlikely to be knocked over on the rear stand but I wonder if there is any downside to storing a bike on a Pit Bull rear stand vs. a kickstand.

Absolutely no disadvantage to putting it on a rear stand. The only thing you don't want to do, in my opnion, is put it on a tree-lift front stand.

Agree, store it on the stands. Better for tires and any fluids that you have in the bike will sit level as well.

Agree.. I'm definitely going to "rear stand" it on both wheels.. I like how, obviously, the Pitbull has the roller wheels for manuverability..

The Confusion

Having the forks at full extension tends to eat seals? I can't say whether thats because there's more fork surface exposed for to collect (and then be run past the seal when you finally set the bike down) or if there's some additional pressure applied to the seal in this state, but it seems to kill them. |

Sit it on the Pit Bull rear for sure, front if you like. Makes it stable, easy if you want to to any on the spot MX. I keep my bikes on at least the rear all the time. Plus it give your garage that GP look, lol.
