Arrow DULL: Ever feel like you have gotten boring?

I sure have

When I was younger, I used to be more spontaneous and took more exotic risks than I do now. I mean, I'm still adventurous and all but I just don't feel like I'm as adventurous as I could or should be. I used to be up at all odd hours, sometimes to the point where I see the sunrise. Now, I can barely stay up past 11pm

I read and hear about people on MH with much more exciting things going on in there lives - mostly not good things but nonetheless exciting. Tony915 takes the cake for leading an exciting life I am not one to compare myself to others but I can't help but feel a little inadequate.

Anyone else share this feeling?

ahh, next thing you know you are at a bachelor party smoking apple flavored tobacco from a hookah, eating kabobs and some fantastic salty-chewy grilled cheese, talking to a Swiss-German dude about mushrooms....

the point is, you should eat some mushrooms...

oh, and I got a gun as a party favor...how cool is that!

to OP i feel the same way u do and i'm 20. life happens. opportunity cost to have fun outweighs the "fun" i used to CS it up in HS all night with my friends til sunrise, go eat breakfast donuts and go to school. late night cruises to galveston at like 2am come back at 5-6am. now i can barely make 3 am even i have a paper or assignment due in the morning

I'm starting to get boring and I love it. Excitement tends to breed drama, and I don't need that anymore.
