Holy , Hollywood has really run out of ideas. "Cowboys and Aliens"

You never know, it might end up being good. Picking up where Indiana Jones left off, I guess.

Probably will suck , though.

I was disapointed in the trailer. I was expecting to see one of these jump out.

I am so game for that. Cheesy Sci-Fi is my favorite genre. I don't see how you can go wrong with that cast. If anyone can pull it off they can.

I don't see how it's any more far fetched than aliens visiting modern day earth.
Seems like a pretty cool idea. Different anyways.

Same directors from iron man, and speilburg? Yep...I'm gonna see it. I usually go by the directors of the movie rather then the thinking out what's gonna happen in the movie.

So if it looks bad but it's still some awesome directors, I'll more the. Likely wind up seeing it

Looks like Young Guns meets Independence Day.

Surprised Harrison Ford took this on. Speilburg is no lightweight.
I'll check it out just because of that.

It was Indian Jones. Did you expect it to break new ground with archeological accuracy? In one of the old ones, a dude pulls a beating heart out of a dude's chest. I mean come on......

Your standards are in the gutter man. For how much they spend in a movie, and how much theater ticlets are, I actually do expect a little better script.

I mean, I know hot to make a movie as much as I know how to fly the space shuttle but if I am dishing out almost 200 mill, I would demand some good writing.

Not in the slight. I just refuse to put the old films on a pedestal simply because they're apart of our cultural ancestry. They were , yet entertaining, films then. Time doesn't suddenly make them works of theatrical art.

The way I see it, if these cable networks can put out great shows with awesome writing like Walking Dead, Mad Men, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter, Deadwood, Sopranos etc, on the smaller budgets they have, then there is no excuse for these bloated budget films.

I'd be interested to see a budget comparison. I know actors like Charlie Sheen are making fuckassloads of money per episode. On par with some film actors per movie.

In short: I'm not so sure that the shows are as low-budget as you think.
