the DJ from Larkins and investors opened up ROXY in the Galleria. that was another of my hangouts back in the day.


6400 thats the same owners that own roxy in galleria, drinkhouston, eldorado ranch back in the day, i used to work for them (dj and security) good peeps but i had to get a real job......

How about Jamaica Jamaica(I think that is what it was called), I believe it was in the corner of the strip center at richmond and Kirby.

A freind and I (late teens/early 20's) took a couple girls we were dating
(late 20's/ early30's) there because they wanted to hear some reggae....

We were the only 4 white people in there and my freinds and I got a very
thorough pat down by the 300 pound bouncers....

We had fun.

pete's out of the game. he got too far into it, and went to rehab. he's been clean for 6 months now, and doing great. no i dont play ball.

i used to work for carrz on kuykendahl, and jones road. i even worked 1 spring break at the galveston location on 61st street, its now a chinese buffet resturant.

Mario was the guy i knew, but they all started at J Larkins in clear lake off of space center and Nasa 1. not the "new" one off of ??

don't think 6400 was owned by them, maybe i got the name wrong, i'm thinking the club that was on richmond and sage, across frombest buy, biggest club EVER! maybe it was XCESS.

wasnt it xcess there before city streets? or was it Avalon? but yes, it was HUGE!!! DECADANCE (old theatre at westheimer/montrose, now a book store) was huge too. had the best "disco inferno" on sundays.
