Steering Dampener Recommendation...'03 R6

Hey guys, as the title says, looking for a decent steering dampener for my R6... Ive got about four on my radar so far.

GPR V1 ($445.95), GPR v4 ($445.95), Scotts Performance Dampener ($499.95), Ohlins Dampner ($615.95)

I will be attending a few trackdays, and I do daily ride this back every chance i get.

Anyone have any experience with these?

I had the GPR V1 on my 04 R6, and it made a huge difference. The R6's are known for bad headshake and tank slappers. I didn't have any problems, but some that haven't been serviced tend to leak I've heard.

I have a V4 on the new 06 trackbike and it seems just as smooth, just shorter and a few more adjustment levels.

Scotts.
We've had multiple GPR have to go back for warranty leak repairs over the years.
FWIW I can blow away any of that pricing. PM sent.

Yeah, for R6's it's more than just poser points on the bike.

BTW I haven't had a Scott's, but alot of people do.
Sounds like Patrick can get you set-up though. Any one of them will help for sure.

Never a good thing for warranty repairs but sometimes a mfg might have a specific model or limited production time frame that has issues. Happens to the best. More importantly is it a continued problem? From everybody I know with GPRs it is not.

Also GPR gives you your first rebuild service for free and does all subsequent out of warranty service for only $25.

Scott's wants $90-$120 for their out of warranty rebuild service.
