Not sure what 2019 is going to bring. But that picture sure looks like Lorenzo "The dog" is trying to sniff Marquez's !

Here's my 2018 summary.

.......Maq-321.....Dov-245.....Ros-198.....Vin-193
1st......9-225.........4-100.........0-...0........1-..25
2nd.....4-..80.........3-..60.........1-.20........1-..20
3rd.....1-..16.........2-..32.........4-.64........3-..48
4th.....0-...............1-..13.........4-.52........1-..13
5th.....0-...............1-..11.........2-.22........2-..22
Other..2-..0...........4-.29..........7-.40........8-.65
DNF....2................3................0........ .....2

Notice:
Marquez got ALL of his points in 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and no other points elsewhere!
Dovi got most of his in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Other.
Rossi got most of his in 3rd, 4th and Other with no wins and no dnfs.
Vinales got most of his points in 3rd and Other with 1 win.

Looking forward to 2019!

Did we PO all the Rossi fanboys ?

Marquez will be 2019 World Champion no doubt in that.

This is just testing and Lorenzo only did one fast last and his fastest lap came in his last lap of the day. Nothing exciting there.

I really hope Yamaha gives Rossi what he needs to possibly win his 10th world title in 2019. Yamaha need a machine like the one that had in 2015, if so then Rossi can challenge for the title as he did in 2015.

I am happy if either Marc or Rossi win the title, Lorenzo

MArquez dislocated his shoulder twice that weekend and said he wasn't going to push in testing because he was having surgery on the shoulder and another crash would have messed everything up.

JLo broke his foot and wrist as well and probably didn't want to push it and crash himself up further.

Honda is in a good position but need to figure out how to make thier bike work on softer rubber (less stiff) tire options. Lorenzo will help them there as he helped Ducati with the same.

Ducati are trying some more trick bits again with maximizing their advantages of a strong engine and strong Michilen rear tire. Lorenzo was initially quick there too, actually closer to front on the ducati in his first outings than Honda.

Suzuki look good need to see how they handle with frozen engine choice this year now having done well enough last year to loose their freedom to develop in season.

At the tail end this is Aprillas year to take the battle to KTM. With reliability and teething issues sorted and having finally figured out what they messed up in the chassis last year this the year they are looking to maximize their potential. KTM going to throw everything and the kitchen sink at it but have to keep a focused approach to testing and not get hit in the head by all the parts being thrown thier way.

Where yamaha fits in the above is going to be intresting to see. Vinales again feeling good and showing promise in Preseasson testing. But we've seen how that plays out before with confidence smashing ups and downs thereafter once the points start getting tallied. Rossi not going to mess about either and will stir the pot as needed along the way to keep the focus at yamaha that they do not declare victory at crack of dawn and miss out on the day ahead again

Some fast rookies in the mix too.

I'm hopeful anyone can rival Honda in 2019. I'm not a 99 or 93 fan and never have been. I would love to see Rossi win another championship, but I would be happy to see Ducati/Yamaha/Suzuki contend with an actual chance.
