Feeler thread: Meet and greet for families of our group riders.

We have a great group of riders that have been in our group. I think it would be fun to have a get together to meet the wives or husbands or girlfriends or boyfriends and children of our members. Even if its just you we want you to join us. A member i’ve spoken with suggested Rudy’s BBQ as a meeting spot since it has a large dining space with long tables.

Thank you all who have joined us in the past. Its a pleasure doing these.

Meet time will be Sat. May 18th at 2 pm...
Rudy’s BBQ
24503 Tomball Pkwy
Tomball, TX 77375

Link to actual meet.

Rudy's is good with me. As long as I don't have to drive to one across the state. LOL
I would think a Saturday around or just past lunchtime. If a little past then maybe there wont be a lunch rush?
Just my thoughts.

Rudy's Country Store
14620 Northwest Fwy, Houston, TX 77040

It is a really great venue for an event like this because people can come and go as they please, order food whenever, huge parking lots, seating areas, and patio. I'd be open to it.

Sounds good depending on the date. We're usually busy doing something on the weekends. I'll try to bring the whole family.

So Rudys it will be...there are 3 locations im considering...the one in Spring, the Hwy 290 and beltway and the one in Katy...looks like a sat. later lunch to let the 12 0’clock crowd get done...thinking around 2 pm.

Whichever is more centrally located is fine with me...post your preference

This meet is for all our riders whether your significant other comes or not. You dont have to be a part of our group either. Everyone is welcome.

More clarification for those that may be confused. This will only be a meetup at Rudys. If you want to ride there your welcome to but i wont be posting a ride there. We want all riders to show up even if your significant other cant make it. The idea is just to have a fun day together and meet peoples family if they bring them.

so that would mean I would have to take my helmet off?
I suppose you'll want me to actually talk to someone.
Why don't you just ask me to bend over.
NO THANKS!!!

I've been to the one in Katy and the one on 290. I'm not sure which one you are talking about when you say Spring. I-45?
There is one on 249 on the southbound access road. It's at the SW corner of 249 and 99. The NW group has hosted a few meets there.
It has a large patio with lots of parking. Parking along side the patio even, so one could sit and stare at their bike while dribbling BBQ sauce down their shirt.

The Katy location has the patio on the wrong side so afternoon sun is an issue. The parking isn't great either.
The 290 location is good but seems to be more busy than the others I've tried.
I haven't been to the one on I-45.

If I had a vote I would pick the one on 249.
