I got nerves pinched in my shoulder once when it dislocated in the army. They told me to beat the out of it. Use it as much as possible, so that the nerves that were pinched would die and the pain would go away. I guess it worked. A few weeks later, it was all good.

Tim will let you use your off hand for a week, if you need to rest your good one....

i got a pinched nerve near my tailbone once from overworking myself. couldnt walk for two days. i ate ibuprofen like m & m's, and just laid in bed for 2 days. probably not the best treatment, but it was all i could do. sometimes you just have to wait it out.

Deep tissue massage for a pinched nerve. No joke. After 3-4 days when the soreness from the message goes away you should be good. Worked for me.

Sorry to hear this- pain sucks. You can take aleve - it's available over the counter. The generic name is naproxen-sodium. I don't know how well it will work for you, though. I have to agree with most others that only time will truly heal it.

I've had numbness before and that's not very pleasant almost like the affected part is out of tune with the rest of the body but this is different, like real sharp stabbing pains when you don't expect them

but I'm willing to try just about anything right now

let see, hmm general anesthetic, sharp knife and open the nerve capsule then get a dirty stick, dig around for bout 10 mins, then use a red hot poker and burn that biotch outta there, use staple gun to close incision, pour 12 year old scotch on a grease rag tape it down with duct tape, drink scotch when pain wakes you in about 3 or 4 days it'll be ok. it could also be in your neck, possibly a dislocated or ruptured disc see a DO or neuroligist no garage surgery on the neck
