I don't recall the timeframe or interview, but he said he loved the dirt more than anything else he ever raced on....

This was playing, getting ready for the WSBK season...

wow that was a low lean angle shot. Incredible rider and good guy. You will be missed nicky you made america proud!!! Prayers for peace for your family and there are motorcycles in Heaven!

I wished he would never thrown his leg over one of those stupid bicycles. they are dangerous as . freak'n bicycles I hate em.

Nicky, Rossi, Marc, Colin.... those guys will get off the dirt track, pop off the helmets and have the HUGE grins on their faces you just know they loved what they were doing.
Riding for the sheer joy of it.
Nicki got bummed out the past few years on the 2nd and 3rd tier bikes... but let him near the dirt and he was that same 16 yr old kid again.... what we all live to do when we get on the bike... just friggin enjoy it. *69.
