is free and depending on slow you ease into it, it can be considering thoughtful.

My wife is actually taking me out for Valentine's day which was a surprise and nice change of pace. She asked that we go shoot some guns and eat somewhere that I like. Can't wait to put a deer slug in the shotty and watch it knock her 100lb over. LOL.

I draw the line at two fingers. You have to have boundaries in your marriage.

That's what I'm doing. It's a special recipe. Only two ingredients...xanax and chardonnay.

You guys.

Bring her flowers, give her a heartfelt card and yes, cook for her. Maybe grill a nice steak or something. Set the table. Light a candle.

You could also make her a mix tape, if you are so inclined.

I doubt it. All of the great ideas have already been mentioned. Food and . What else is there? You could possibly throw a change of venue in there. Maybe food and in a hot air balloon.

Save some Xanax for yourself after she wakes up.

Flowers cause allergies, writing causes arthritis, cooking is work, grilling is a risk of explosion, candles have the ability to set he house on fire, and i donít own a table. Also I donít think a mix tape would work in her car, maybe in my 98 corolla.

Okay. A mix USB drive then, smartass.
And set the coffee table or lay out a picnic in the living room.
These are cheap ideas for the cheap OP.

I get her flowers and food every year. It just seems so predictable and effortless.
Whatever I guess I'll just go with the flow again this year.
Man this holiday is a sham.

It's not a sham! It's a day of love!

What's your girl into? What are her interests?

More ideas:
Take her to see Cirque du Soleil (they are in town). Buy her some concert tickets. Sign up for a couples cooking class or art class. Slow dance with her in the kitchen while you're cooking. Drive out to the country, lay out a blanket and look up at the stars together.
