Houston Ride for Kids-Sun April 29

This is a great ride for an AWESOME charity:

So how many of you yahoos are going to go and make a positive showing fo the sportbike community??

Where: Pasadena Convention Center & Fairgrounds
7902 Fairmont Pkwy.
Pasadena, TX 77507

The ride will loop back to the Pasadena Fairgrounds. Upon our return, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers, distribution of premiums, and then a barbecue lunch, will follow.

The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn. For each $300 you raise, your name will be entered into a drawing for a brand-new Honda motorcycle! For more information, call 800-253-6530.

I would highly reccomend this ride to all motorcyclists. i have done every year for the last 6 years. You will get a free BBQ lunch after the ride as well, but there is nothing like riding with up to a thousand other bikes with a full police escort.
The LEO's close down all cross roads and stop all oncoming traffic for the riders. The line will stretch for up to a couple of miles long. Very impressive. But wait until you see the children that you are helping because they will be on stage speaking after the ride. It will bring tears to your eyes with just how greatful they are to be alive and to have people like you and me to make it possible for them to be alive.

Sadly, I will not be attending this one because BiPOLAR RACING will be kicking some in Katy that day, but I urge all who can to participate.
