This happens more than you think, there's usually no camera around though.

A METRO bus driver did the same thing to me on the Eastex HOV Kingwood exit where the HOV splits into 2 lanes. I followed her to the Park & Ride and had a discussion with her. Here's how it went:
Me: Why are you swerving at me like that? Are you trying to kill me?
Her: [neck movement here] You ain't a s'posed to pass in da HOV
Me: It's 2 lanes wide, what do you care?
Her: You ain't a s'posed to pass in da HOV

There was an HPD officer on the bus. He just said "I didn't see anything" and got in his car and left. So, nobody gives a about bikes. You're on your own out there.

Wait till the HPD officer rolls off... then headbutt that (helmet on) and roll off.

Report it to Metro Hotline ... traffic violation = fine etc.. not I take your life attitude..

I would have taken few swings at his with those hard knuckle gloves... few blows on the 1 piece suit shouldn't hurt that much..

what a +1 for the front bike dippin on him. I dont think the riders were in any way being stupid.. so everyone that is callin them stupid - youve never passed someone when you shouldnt on a back road or not used your turn signal when you shouldnt.. come on people.. everyone breaks the law in some way or another and most of the time not even intending to cause harm to anyone.. just my 2 cents

What the is wrong with people these days? Society's gone to , people going out of their way to "get back" at a biker that passes them by which usually ends up with the guy on the bike seriously injured or killed and the in the cage getting away 9 out of 10 times. Yea sometimes we go faster than we should myself included and there are morons out there that screw it up for the rest of us and give us a bad rep but death by getting run over doesn't fit the bill. This was out in the country too, with very little traffic, it's not just bikers that ride fast out there, I don't know how many huge duelys I've seen hauling out there - wish someone would run their off the road.

Ahh I just saw it was an old video and not us, lol! Still wish I was there!!

By the way it's illegal to cross doubles in any state. But its also illegal to speed, changes lanes without a turn signal/hand signal, pass inthe right lane (marked highways), and about 100 other things we all do and don't think about.

Old bible saying: Before you take the splinter out of my eye, take the log out of yours! hypocrites (last part was added by me, you won't find that in the bible)!

Besides a Sportbike has a lot better braking and handling then a truck/car/cruiser. The speed they were going they can easily avoid any accidents.

Those sportbike guys werent endangering anyone at their speed.
You're kidding, right?

Do you NOT see all of the houses and driveways merely feet from the road?
When the truck driver was TRYING to keep up with the first bike (and made the second bike slow way down), he was barely able to keep that truck steady on the road. And you say "no indication if they were speeding"?

At the speed those bikes were going, if I was pulling out of my driveway just beyond a blind corner, there is NO way I would have been able to safely see and avoid pulling out in front of one of those bikes. And if I had my kid with me in the car, a 500lb bike/rider combo is going to do quite a bit of damage to a 40lb toddler.

Your post is full of weak and very biased assumptions.

Wrong. Page 42 of the drivers manual. "You may not pass when there is a solid yellow center line on your side of the road."

I love how people take up for a rider just because hes on a bike and completely over look any wrong doing he may have had.

Its was THEM who were idiots first.

The truck driver should have gone to jail too.

either way, what the bikers did was relatively minor compared to the truck driver.

True, but illegal none the less... If you're going to ride like an , is it not unreasonable to expect that others around you will react in the same.
I seriously doubt, the rider at the time gave any thought to possible consequences to trying to pass the truck in a no passing zone, much as the driver gave none to his actions.

While the 'degrees' of legality varied, the actual choice of actions were equally stupid and selfish.

No doubt... I completely agree... up until one decided to unleash strong viligant justice in return.

Punish them all accordingly to their crimes.
