Only going to get worse with the new upcoming half retarded, gimme gimme now, i need a phone screen in my helmet so i can post to insta, bro's. I could care less about we anymore. Some people are just not saveable/reachable. All i can do is make sure my kids don't end up like that, which will be difficult.

I've been riding since 1969. I was 9. My boys were riding at 12. I know a lot start at even 4.
I didn't have this kind of thing when I started riding, but I set my boys down with me and we watched a ton of this stuff and still do. We tried to figure out what happened in a lot of cases and just cringed at others saying "I don't want to be that guy." This refresher activity can help you keep on your toes because you've already seen it time after time after time . . . .

Yeah, a lot are Russian, but a crash is a crash and you can pretty much tell who the idiots are and who should have been PAYING ATTENTION rather than counting on the other person or their "Rights" to keep them alive.

After watching a few of them you start to recognize what's going to happen when you're only 5 seconds into it. THEN you start to actually see these scenarios unfold right before your eyes on these beauty streets of Houston and it seems like you have a little better idea of what to do because you just watch 20 guys eat it under the same circumstances. You can literally see it happen before the whole flying bodies broken bones and bike parts thing even starts.

Sit down on rainy days and just watch some of this . Visualizing it has a BIG influence on education and it's a 773H of a lot less painful than learning by experience. And it still hurts just watching it. Watch a bunch of them. Watch until you're sick of watching them. Learn by others mistakes and see the results of not paying attention or being stoopit yourself. Every imaginable scenario has now been ingrained in the between your ears. Now you have a little better idea on avoiding the entire mess rather than experiencing it.

Start with this one and just keep going for a while. You'll verbally express your inner pain within the first few incidents. My sucked up between my shoulder blades when the guy hit the curb.

I may be a cold hearted SOB, but I figure that most of the stuff I read about from the those players on the street IS fixing stupid.
Some times though, being in the wrong place at the wrong time can happen to the best of folks...ride to reduce that possibility, you can not eliminate it.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink... and like Ron white says, you can't fix stupid.

This forum alone is rife with examples of more than brains.

I have been riding street since 2005 and dirt since 1992. I recently as of two weekends ago had my closest call ever. I've been off two wheels for a few years and two weeks ago was my fisrt venture back on two wheels in a while. I was riding with a friend that recently acquired his first bike, I was paying attention to him and almost re-ended a car in brookshire that was turning left on a two lane road. It was an awakening moment near the end of our ride. No harm, but a serious pucker moment on my part. It was the refresher I needed and I'm glad I didn't dust myself. Eyes open and looking forward!!!

All this kids racing on the streets, running from the Cops, performing stunts on public roads will never hear any advice or understand. They just don't listen and don't care. Let Darwin sort them out.
