bilt discovery adv helmet

i bought this on a whim the other day and have ridden with it for probably around 150 miles. it's a much simpler helmet than the scorpion modular that i came from. i paid a whole $70 on sale for this guy, and got it in the matte titanium color. the fit is pretty snug. when i have some time to goof around with the helmet, i'll see if i can pull some of the padding out of the cheeks. i added my sena to the helmet, and even though it doesnt have indentations for the speakers, it works well for me so far. the velcro on the speakers clings to the eps liner kinda ok-ish. i'm thinking if it needs further reinforcement, i can cut a little pantyhose to fit between the snap points.
the helmet is nice and breezy, but not bad at all with a neck gaiter on a cold morning. i havent ridden with it in the rain, and i wonder what it will be like. there are 2 brow vents that are half covered when the visor is closed. interested to see how that will work out.
so far, i'm very happy with this use of $70.

oh, one complaint i have is that the tab for the visor is right at the middle. it's probably not so much as a complaint as it is i need to get used to it.
