Helmet Comments
So for years, I mostly wore Shoei helmets starting with RF800 and on. On occasion, I had HJC, but always went back to Shoei. Currently have RF1200, and also eyballing X14 to replace an older one. So at MotoGP I went to try on various helmets - I had to step up to XL in Arai, AGV and Bell just to be able to slide the helmet on, but when on, it felt loose. I was told I can change cheek pads, but was not sold on that idea since main melon part of the helmet was loose. So, I will stick with Shoei L - fits like a glove (or properly fitted helmet)....
So what gives, why such a tight opening on these helmets? |
