A lot of trash can build up at intersections and cause problems especially if your line doesn't follow the path that cars make with their tires. You never know when there might be a little island of gravel, a/c condensation, oil, up pavement, etc.

about 2 months.

I just hope people realize how important gear is no matter how fast or how far you're riding. can go south real quick at anytime.

I'll be getting to that once I am done with finals next week along with an oil change. I already bought all the materials for cleaning the chain. Like I said, I have a long list of to do's, school has been getting in the way.

Probably hit something slippery on that thick white line. I have one at the exit of my neighborhood. I always goof around on it when it's wet. Little crack of the throttle and the tire spins right up. When wet they are like ice.

I almost did the same thing turning onto my street. There was a little tuft of sand that was in the crack. Tire hit it when leaned over, almost bit it. I had to actually go back and look at what caused the slip out.

If it was the white line, you may be able to see tire marks. Either way, this happens and there is very little that you can do about it. I'm always leery of hitting the paint with any kind of lean or braking.

ATGATT for the win.

Painted lines on the road bother me on a turn. Never thought much of it till someone posted a video on MH of him riding the line and the bike got away from him just for a sec.

It was the first time I took this specific turn on my bike. I usually turn onto Kirby and that intersection doesn't have the white lines or uneven surface. I decided to turn earlier because the traffic was moving slow.

Glad you're alright! Bike looks awfully familiar, do you park at the towers garage?

I go through there all the time commuting between UH/Rice, never noticed anything that could give you trouble except the shitty road called Greenbriar

That burger place by CVS called Southwell's is pretty good.

Not really. You don't need the black version.

if you wait till REI has their annual %20 off one item you get it for about $260 to your door.
