What's the redline on that bike? If you're not hitting redline in top gear you could drop a tooth on the front sprocket

Smaller front sprocket, one less tooth. It will give you better acceleration and let you reach redline in top gear. Get in a full tuck first (lay down on the tank), before you make any sprocket changes to see if you can hit the redline in top gear

That is not the top speed (should be around 95). Are you sure you were in 6th gear?

Dropping a tooth is referencing the sprocket sizes, which is measured by the number of teeth.

and only 80. I was checking it out and it suppose to be around 95-100

What I'm saying is 12K rpm in 6th gear should be closer to 95mph.

Next quesiton would be if it has stock gearing.

Either that or he go the only motorcycle with a spedo that reads under.

i don't know if it has any stock gearing.. i don't think so...
well the speedo showed 80 and it looked like 80 i can tell by the other cars speed.
it's my first time on that speed so i don't really know what to say i have the motorcycle only month and half
it seems like it's weaker than what it should be

This is why I asked if you were in 6th. 80 seems to be right were 5th will hit with stock gearing.

https://www.gearingcommander.com/

Only after some engine mods were people able to hit redline in 6th.

I'm sure it's fine. If you are finding you're reaching for 7th gear it might be time to trade up to a bigger bike.

It's a 250. You're always looking for a seventh gear

No need to take it to a shop. Just the next time you are on the highway make sure you are in 6th.

Either the gearing isn't stock or you weren't in 6th.

I noticed that when riding on the tollway that you get more sandy, gritty wind due to the walls trapping the dirt, sand and gravel. It doesn't feel good on your neck or in your face with the visor up. Other than that, it was normal riding to me.

Yes, you're not going to harm the bike by hitting the redline. Just don't go past it, but the rev limiter should kick in
